Choose Coaching.
There are so many reasons to choose Life Coaching! It can help with so many aspects of your life, including ....
Emotional wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem.
Addressing your false beliefs and unhelpful habitual patterns of behaviour and finding more positive and productive strategies as ways forward is key to freeing yourself from multiple mental health related issues such as stress, anxiety, exsessive worry, low self-esteem and lack of confidence.
Personal development.
We all want to be very best versions of ourselves, but it is not always obvious how we go about this. They do not teach personal development in school, although they really should. When people start however to seriously address their own personal development, they will see within a surprisingly short space of time positive improvements throughout all aspects of their lives and quickly realise that personal development works! Your relationships will improve (or dissolve as they were not serving you), you will make new positive connections, you will see steep upward improvements in your career – including financial rewards; and your wellbeing, health and happiness will vastly improve. You will then simply continue to build on this from then on. You will find your purpose and a clear path towards your goals. You will find a deeper sense of self, and many feel a shift/awakening in your spiritual wellbeing as a result. - No downside – all up! - Once you start down this road you will not want to stop.
Knocking down barriers to progression.
We all have our own barriers to progression. If these are emotional barriers our past encounters and experiences may have initially created or contributed to these, and they can be extremely hard to shake, but we can address and conquer them non the less. Remember that our past does not equal our future.
If these barriers are physical or health related then we can address these also. We can look at financial and practical support, adaptations and adjustments, practical support at home and work, and seek out all available wellbeing and health support in addition to your goals and dreams beyond this.
Barriers are only obstacles in our way; they are usually surmountable and there will be a method/strategy that can be used to overcome the majority of them. I have supported may people to confront their barriers, enabling them to move past and progress beyond them.
Mindset and motivation.
"Change the way you look at things and things you look at change" (Wayne Dyer). - This quote I feel sums up the fundamental simplicity and power of having a positive mindset, and how it can quite literally change our world. We are ultimately the creators of our own experience and our mindset is a tool at our disposal that we can use to work in our favour, or indeed against us. We can choose to see the good in the world… in people, in situations, in challenges... or we can choose to see the bad. There is usually plenty of both – so why opt for the negative…? If we learn to steer away from the negative – self-pity, gossip, drama, feelings of inadequacy, feelings of not being good enough, procrastination, and instead think positivly, engage in positive self-talk and affirmations, and learn to take positive action, we will attract more of this positive energy from others. - This is the essence of 'the power of attraction’ - it is as simple as that. - Project positivity out into the world and then welcome it back. Do the opposite, and guess what!? - The more you believe that good things will come to you... that you can achieve your dreams and goals, and that you deserve to do so, the more you will see them materialise, and the more you will be motivated to actively continue to pursue them.
Dealing with key life changes and challenges.
Life does not stay still. We must continue to move forward, evolve, learn, and explore to be fulfilled and to enable us to reach our full potential. Challenges and changes are vital to life, and no matter what these are, and how they come about, we must go out and meet them head on and actively participate with them. If we do not, and we try to avoid or ignore these challenges, they can then easily build up and become too much for us to cope with all at once. We can then feel ourselves losing control and may quickly become stressed and overwhelmed. Resilience here is one of the key skills that can help us to negotiate these times, and it can be learned just the same as any other skill, and then practiced and improved upon. The better you can become at coping with difficult times, the happier you will be in general. It is so liberating when you finally learn that you don’t need to wait to be saved, as you are perfectly capable of saving yourself.
Work/life balance.
A healthy work/life balance is something that should be non-negotiable for everyone but so often is not, and without this, the rest of your life will most definitely suffer. If you are overworked, you may feel pressure and anxiety for the majority of the time - whether you are at work or not - as you try to fit everything in. Your relationships will suffer, your health - both physically and mentally, and your finances will suffer as you will most likely spend more than you would have done simply to console yourself that you are tired and overworked. All your overtime gained going straight to retail therapy maybe.
Work/life balance is vital for us all. Yes, money is important, but your health and general wellbeing is so much more so. There needs to be balance or you may find yourself joining the millions of people who are off work with burn out and stress, and sadly statistics show that once you’re there, it can be very difficult to come back.
Employability Support & Career Assessment.
I have over 16 years experience in supporting people to progress into employment that they feel connected to, a sense of purpose in, and that they enjoy and have sustained. The time however of when people would stay in the same job for their full career is now definately gone. We can now progress throughout our working lives into many different types of employment if we wish as we evolve and change our focus, our values, and priorities. There is no need to stay in a job that you do not feel connected to, or do not enjoy anymore. You have a wealth of transferable skills and experiences that can be presented to a new employer that may very much play to your advantage. Organisations thrive from a composite of employees coming to them now from a variety of backgrounds, all with different experiences and skills that contribute to the knowledge and expertise of companies as a whole. Your experience could be invaluable within several another areas of the jobs market that you have never even considered! Let me support you to explore your options and to help you find a job/self-employment where you are actually happy to get up in the morning and go to work.
